We want our classes to be a happy, relaxed and supportive space where babies, parents and carers can enjoy time together, learn and grow.

To help everything run smoothly, here are a few simple things to know before booking.

Bookings

Places should be booked and paid for in advance. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received. Please check your chosen class, dates and times before booking, as places are limited.

​

Cancellations and Missed Sessions

We understand that family life can be unpredictable and plans sometimes change. As places are reserved especially for each family, we are generally unable to offer refunds or replacement sessions for missed classes. If your circumstances change, please get in touch and we will always do our best to help where we can. If we need to cancel a class, we will let you know as soon as possible and discuss an appropriate alternative.

Illness and Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our little community is important to us. If you or your baby are unwell, particularly with something that may be passed on to others, we kindly ask you to stay at home.

Allergies and Additional Needs

Every family is different, and we want you and your little one to feel as comfortable as possible. Please let us know about any relevant allergies, medical conditions or additional needs before your session so that we can consider these when planning activities.

If you have any concerns about whether an activity is suitable for your baby, please speak to your healthcare professional before taking part.

Our Classes and Medical Advice

Our classes are designed to provide general information, learning opportunities and enjoyable experiences for babies and their families. While we draw on knowledge and experience to support families, our sessions are not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have concerns about your own health or your baby's health or development, please seek advice from your GP, health visitor, midwife or another appropriate healthcare professional.

Parents and carers know their babies best and remain responsible for supervising their little ones throughout each session. Please feel free to speak to your instructor if you have any questions or concerns during an activity.

A Little Consideration for Everyone

We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable and respected at SoCa Baby. We kindly ask families to follow safety guidance, respect one another's privacy and avoid photographing other families without their permission. Please take care of your personal belongings and keep walkways clear.

​

Siblings Attending Classes

To ensure a calm, safe and enjoyable experience for all our little ones, we kindly ask that siblings do not attend sessions where possible.

 

However, we completely understand that childcare arrangements aren’t always straightforward! If you’re ever struggling with childcare or have special circumstances, please don’t hesitate to pop us a message before your session, and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.

Changes and Unexpected Circumstances

Occasionally, we may need to make changes to a class, such as a change of venue, time or instructor. If this happens, we will keep you informed and do our best to minimise any inconvenience.

Privacy

We use the information you provide to manage bookings, communicate with families and deliver our services. Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. Further details can be found in our Privacy Notice.
